      How much of a lucid dream can you control?

      So, I'm still a bit new here, and I just have a quick question. I have had about 2 lucids before, but they were short (and not very clear, despite doing the 'rub your hands method for the WILD). I was just wondering:

      Would it be possible to 'make a play' in a lucid? By that, I mean sort of like control DCs (ie. a DC of a tv show character like Captain Jack Harkness) and have them 'do what you want'? Sort of like making your own story, but instead of having the story in your mind's eye, it would be like watching it in real life (you being in 3rd person, not 1st)?

      I've heard you can influence DCs if your really good at 'control', but I've never heard of completely taking control or something. I'm just curious.

      Thanks --->

      Yes, it's entirely possible. I've never done it before, but it's possible!

      Really? Wow, that's good. I've always wanted to do that, hopefully I'll be able to. Wait... can you just 'summon' a tv show character (like Captain Jack, who I mentioned before) just like 'any other dc'? Or do you have to one of those 'alternate universes' (still in your dreams)?

      well someone with a lot of experience should be able to control everything, from DC movements to a detailed scenery.
      Of course this takes a lot of time and effort, I didn't get close to that yet.

      That is how most of my semi-lucid dreams go actually. It is like I narrate the dream in real time. This is actually an obstacle for me because sometimes I am aware of so much and controlling so much of the dream that I miss out on becoming truly lucid.
