I would like to point out that if one wants to experience lucid dreaming then at least a generic understanding of the bio-mechanics of brain activity during sleep and dreams would be valuable knowledge. Lucid dreams occur in the gray area (no pun intended) between the Theta and Delta brainwave state. The Theta brainwave state occurs in the transition from the Alpha (relaxed) state and REM; as REM sleep occurs near the beginning of Delta (deep sleep). REM occurs as we transition into and out of Delta. Lucid dreams occur in the transition gap from Theta to Delta. Simple math! |
