      Wakattacks intro

      hey all i'm not entirely sure what to say only just today i realised that it was possible to have lucid dreams ect my friend told me what it was and i'm really interested in what i can do too improve my skills ect ect. i think i've had a few before not really sure how to describe it but if any of you guys out there could throw a hand to the "newbie" it would be appretiated thanks.


      ps lol prolly a little dramatic for a intro post but yeah.

      Hi Wakattack,

      The best thing right now is to study and practice. Read some tutorials, start keeping a dream journal, and begin to work on recall and identifying your dream signs.

      Be sure to ask any questions you might have, there are plenty of experienced people here.

      dream journal

      hey again, yeah i grabbed an old notebook of mine last night and kept it beside my bed i had been reading over google before i had found this site, and there was a technique that said say "I remember my dreams tonight" which actually helped so i had remembered 2 dreams but i do write everything i remember in my journal or just important parts?

      What I usually do in the middle of the night is to write down enough to help me remember the next day. Sometime the next day, look over your notes and write out more detail. As to your question of how much detail, write at least enough to identify recurring dream signs. How much you write is up to you and should not become a burden to you.

      ah ok thank you, since i'm a really big newb at this could you explain dream signs and hows i can make myself take control of what i do in a dream please?
