      mini lucid dream?

so last night i accidentally fell asleep while trying to WILD for the 6000+ time. So i was going about my dream in a normal type fashion just letting random stuff just go by for hours. Then at some point i was in a mini mart in one of my dreams, i was going through the aisles and picked out a hershey bar and a moon pie. But then all of a sudden i thought to myself, "fuck that, i want like 5 moon pies!" and put down the hershey bar and picked up an additional 4 moon pies.

My question is this considered a lucid dream at all? I know i wasn't "lucid" but i was able to enact some change in the dream world using my thoughts. So yea or nay, can i check off that box in my sig or what
      Goals:
      [ ] Have a lucid dream
      [ ] Fly
      [ ] Drive over 200mph
[ ] Transform the world around me

I don't think you can call it a LD. When I have a LD (had 5 so far) I really know I'm dreaming (though I might not have the control I want) Saying you want 5 moon pies isn't really consciousness, it is a thought yes, but thoughts aren't exclusively reserved for LD's. As far as I know you have thoughts in regular dreams as well. So I'm sorry: Nay.
      Good luck though
What's the difference between dreaming that you're lucid and lucid dreaming?

No, that's not lucidity. An LD is simply one where you know that you're dreaming. You can be lucid and have no control, but you can also have some control and no lucidity. Before I knew about LDing and when I was younger I tended to exert a fair amount of control over my dream environment. More recently I've had a dream where I said to myself, "If I was dreaming, then I would..." and did what I desired (getting rid of bad guys or something, I don't recall).

You're getting closer, though. I consider exerting unconscious control a step in the right direction, as you are at least somewhat aware that the world around you can be changed. Keep at it! You'll be lucid before long.
