Thread: Newbie Introduction and Question!

Hello all. I've never heard of the term "lucid dreaming" before tonight. I've had these sorts of dreams for the past 8 years or so where I suddenly realize i'm dreaming and then i'm overcome with extreme happiness at the realization that I can do anything I want in this magical dream world!

Before I read up on all this I thought I was accessing some secret world because I would visit the same place each time I realized I was dreaming. It was vivid and unlike any other dream place. When I go there it is simply a tree and there are people around me that I never really see. Last night I decided to look at one of these people and they looked back. It was an incredible feeling. I was wondering if anyone ever experienced something like this before. I've never told anyone about it and I felt like I had special powers until I read up on it, ha!

It would be cool to keep that area in your dreaming time, as a common spot to know when you are dreaming. You can use it to spring or start any lucid scenario.

Oh, and to answer your question, no, I haven't had a dream like that, but it is one of my goals to go to another world and explore around.
