2. My other question:
I really really believed I was going to be lucid last night, I even kind of felt it, I was excited and everything! But when I awoke, I could barely remember my dreams and I definately wasn't lucid :'(

I think you were just on the verge of becoming lucid. All you really lacked was the knowledge that it was a dream!
