      Smile Hello Forum!

Greetings one and all! I've been visiting the dream views for some time now and thanks to everyone I've been able to have some lucid dreams! Lets see... I became interested in lucid dreaming in August 2009 and since November I have had 7 lucid dreams that I remembered and many good normal dreams. Now, most of my lucid dreams dematerialize fairly quickly and hopefully one day I can have stable lucid dreams! All I can say for people just start is keep going, the rabbit hole goes deeper Thanks to everyone who make this forum possible and I hope to become better acquainted with every one! Ttyl!

      Welcome

Nice to see that you're already having LDs. Since your problem is stabilization, i sugest spinning or rubing your hands. These two will stabilize your dream, but be aware that spinning may cause you to teleport to somewhere else

I hope you enjoy this forum

Ty! yeah Spinning never really worked for me and what i think is funny is rubing my hands dosnt work unless I rub with the back's of my hands (pretty weird) or claping i found out works pretty well for me although both of these things only give temporary stablity and my dreams still seam to fade out =( But, I hope to get better thanks Donran.

As for changing your dream scene, try creating a portal (if you play warcraft, mine always looks like a mage portal), perhaps?

Also, for stabilizing, I found that touching something in the dream environment kept a dream from fading out.

Welcome to Dreamviews, and congrats on your lucids! For me, the best way to stabilize is to touch something in the dream or focus on my dream senses. So touching the wall, the ground or rubbing my hands helps the most. In any case, with a little practice you will start having longer and more stable dreams so just keep practicing!

If you haven't already, I encourage you to make a dream journal on DV and post some of those lucids.
