      Question Can't wake up well

Hi everybody. I've recently made my first attempts in lucid dreaming, i made the mistake of thinking something too ambitious and woke up, or something like that. The problem is that i don't really wake up. I think as I were awake, i can feel where my limbs are (i can feel that I lay in the bed), but i can't move my body. I remained in that state for a long time, i don't know how long exactly. The first time that happened i was afraid, but now i know that is not so bad. But I really feel uncomfortable and don't know how to recover the control of my body. Someone with a similar history? I know that it doesn't happen to everybody but it happens...

I passes after a minute or two. Probably the best thing to do in that situation is to close your eyes and go back into a dream. It's called a DEILD

I wish I had this problem. I'm the exact opposite. I've long since trained my body to function on very few hours of sleep, so whenever I've attempted to do anything that requires WBTB, I just fully wake up. And I won't go back to sleep until about 12 hours have passed.

I have successfully DEILD-ed. But on those occasions I woke up naturally (I imagine I was probably mid-REM, as well), and was thinking about the dream when I awoke. So as I fell back to sleep, I slipped back into the dream.

It's disappointing, because I'm at the stage where I don't think I'll ever be able to have LD's at will. I'm okay with it, but it's still disappointing

I wish I knew how I do Lucid Dream, it just happens, otherwise I could tell you. I dream a lot but as soon as I do wake up I mostly forget them. But I do tend to remember my Lucid dreams more than my normal dreams. Keep on trying.

I do have lucid dreams. They aren't as frequent as I'd like (that's what I'm working on), but I do get them
