I passes after a minute or two. Probably the best thing to do in that situation is to close your eyes and go back into a dream. It's called a DEILD |

Hi everybody. I've recently made my first attempts in lucid dreaming, i made the mistake of thinking something too ambitious and woke up, or something like that. The problem is that i don't really wake up. I think as I were awake, i can feel where my limbs are (i can feel that I lay in the bed), but i can't move my body. I remained in that state for a long time, i don't know how long exactly. The first time that happened i was afraid, but now i know that is not so bad. But I really feel uncomfortable and don't know how to recover the control of my body. Someone with a similar history? I know that it doesn't happen to everybody but it happens... |

Phew, I am not the only one that can't wake up, it can take me sometimes three goes to actually wake up -then i wonder wether I am actually awake or am I lucid dreaming again, frightening. |

I wish I had this problem. I'm the exact opposite. I've long since trained my body to function on very few hours of sleep, so whenever I've attempted to do anything that requires WBTB, I just fully wake up. And I won't go back to sleep until about 12 hours have passed. |
