      Hypnosis Induced Lucid Dreaming?

Hi! I am new to lucid dreams and this site and i was wondering if HILD was a real way of initiating a LD. I heard of this from some where and i am interested in hypnosis so i was wondering how well this works.
      Thanks!

Welcome to dreamviews! I guess it is possible but I have tried it and it doesn't work for me. I have had the most success with MILD.

both hypnosis and mnemonics can be used for intention setting - they are just different approaches to reinforcing your desire to become lucid. with hypnosis you are in a relaxed state and receptive to developing that recognition that you are dreaming.

Dream_King mentioned MILD, which stands for mnemonic induced LD. it's a form of intention setting and a subcategory of DILD (dream induced LD).

you're talking about self-hypnosis, which should have an effect for anyone who uses it properly and often enough.

That depends on you. Anyone can be hypnotized but that depends on what they allow for themselves. For example, some people think that hypnosis is the work of "the devil" and that you lose your will, therefor setting up a mental block. However, for those who know that "the devil" is just a bunch of b/s along with the other misconceptions, hypnosis should come easier for them.

Oh, and welcome to the community
