      DILD and False Alakenings

Hi, im new here. i have some expiriences with DILDS, first times i didnt know it has a name, i just knew i was dreaming and feel free to do what i want, i dont wake up immidietely, i dont get that exited. also im pretty good at flying, not scared of it anymore, most times i can do it in non-lucid dream (its stupid because its a dream sign, but i just accept it and thouth that i can fly for real or thats some sort of game) And fly is also the first thing i do in lucid Sometimes u fly that fast, that the buildings down there need more time to render
I have had only about 4 or 5 lucids, and want to improve them. Its like there's some periods that i dont have vivid dreams and dont remember them at all. Do u have that problem too?
Also i think False Awakenings are kinda related to LD because they can get u out of a LD and they can get u in one..

Everything you said here I've experienced as well.

When I first started trying to fly when I was real young, I could only hover a few feet off the ground, but then once I got it going, yeah, you can be up high and moving so fast that you feel like you're on a rollercoaster and need to slow down

It's just phases. You are probably really busy in your life and your mind is just overloaded, and doesn't think to "remember" your dreams. It happens to me. I went through a month without anything. And now almost every night is a super vivid dream. Not a lucid dream yet though

But welcome to Dream Veiws. Hopefully the community can greatly help you in your practice with lucid dreaming!

I've experienced false awakenings several times. An obvious dream sign but usually I'm somewhat anoyed with the self deception and either wake up for real or drift off in some distracted dream. I have many semi lucid dreams but have only had a few where I was fully lucid. I usually simply lack the will to take control or direct things even after realizing I'm in a dream. And I'm just as shy (if not more) of others in a dream as in daiytime life. I always think I'd like to do certain things, or look for a lustful encounter, but while asleep I have very little desire or will.

Only had a few true flying dreams. Have had several dreams though where I am up real high, like on a super tall bicyle or something, and am worried about tipping over and falling from too great a hight.

this happened to me once, when your body fly high in only one direction (up) its called levitation i think, sometimes the higher u get, the faster u go. But dont worry, when in dream just choose a higher point (for example tree) and jump to it beleaving to fly, and you will. You can control things just using your mind, but sometimes its easyer when pretend like there are invisible stairs and u jump from them and fly , or invisible strings which help u to move objects with your hands from distance(telekinesis) do it in some way that your mind finds it more possible or reasonable to happen, just to convince yourself.

It is actually like riding on some sort of vehicle, like an extremely tall bicycle. Most of the time I am not very lucid and there is a slight fear of falling. The couple times I was more lucid I did play with it a bit and deliberately let it tip and swooped down low.

Actually, I work at heights! And would love to have a plain flying dream. I've probably had a few but the only one I have good recall of was a semi-tense dream where I was stranded down in Detroit somehow and was trying to walk out of the city. After awhile, I noticed that I was just gliding along the street at a pretty good clip and not on foot.
