Hello! Need some help with stalker...

Hi everyone! This is my second post here and I am not as advanced as I wish Iīd be with lucid dreaming. I will try to keep from rambeling and keep this short and to the point.

The last post I wrote I some problems with people following me in my dreams. On two occasions Itīs been in my home right after falling asleep and on three other occasions itīs been in differet places when the same "character" has paralyzed me by grabbing hold of my spine and sending bolts of electricty through it and they have always been semi invisible or blurred...

What finally made me freak out about it, and there is a big chance that I am just allowing myself to be a little too paranoid, but what tipped the scales a bit happened last night. I fell asleep instantly, really tired and really needed some sleep but after and hour and a half, around 00.30 I wake up completely rested and unable to fall back into sleep. No worries I thought to myself and stayed up about an hour to then try to go back to sleep.

As soon as I close my eyes and start to sink into it Iīm stopped by a person of some sort that will not let me sleep. Iīm not awake but in the same time i feel like iīm not sleeping. I get a feeling he is hovering right above me and i begin the freaking out which makes it worse. As soon as i do the jerk grabs hold of my spine and tries to drag me of the bed back first. This is the second time it has happened in my home and in this state of sleep, feels a little bit like daydreaming actually. Last time I was walking into my bathroom, also right after falling asleep. That time i got lifted of the floor and could not move. This time I fought it, donīt know how well that went because after some struggeling with this i went into a feverish kind of sleep, going in and out of it, nothing really having to do with anything else and this guy follows me around everywhere from dream to dream but not visually, he hovers somewhere like the announcer in "running man", just a voice. During this skipping between dreams he tries to convince me that he is actually just me, repeating himself. These dreams themselves did were not very lucid, what felt lucid was the stuff right before trying to get this guy of me. It got really creepy.

I did not sleep for long and i defenately do not feel very rested as I did the first time i woke up last night.
Has anyone had anyhting like this?? Am i just allowing myself to be a little too paranoid about it all??

I kinda want to say that what you experianced was SP, but it sounds way to wierd to be SP, I just don't know anymore.

      (SP) -> (Sleep Paralysis)

I have Sleep paralysis, and i can confirm this is perfectly normal (FOR people with SP) it sounds like you have it pretty bad like me, now i have researched into it a great deal, the causes of it are mostly lack of sleep for my self, but it can also be caused by stress or having a great deal on your mind whilst sleeping. Now since your awake but dreaming you are in a kinda super lucid dream because YOU are awake, and YOU do have your eyes open seeing the world around you (unable to move) but yet you are dreaming so things become distorted, now they mostly become distorted by what you fear. i can explain, i woke into SP and saw a shadow flickering (TV was on) and i thought, oh shit SP again and wow that shadow looks freaky kinda like a dinosaur, then after that it morphed into one, was freaky but hey that's what happens if you think of it as a bad experience.

Just remember that your in no danger and that no matter how real things feel or seem, there not. also, if you think your moving, like sleep walking DW this is just you dreaming, SP is the opersit to sleep walking.

      I hope this helped.

Also to note, I've experienced this waking in and out of SP, now there are two ways to break out of it, Force your self to move, like really push as hard as you can and you should break out with in 5 to 10 seconds, or just totally relax and fall straight back into sleep although that mostly means you will be bouncing in and out of it. best bets, break out of it.

      Smile SP!?? Hmmm...

Thanks for the advice! I was really starting to freak out and could not really find anything about it online that would fit the situation... So cheers!!

This is the first time Iīve heard about it and went right in to do some research on it and found a lot of helpful stuff! What I could not find anything about was about the whole controling it part. You mention one should just relax and not panic about stuff because it gets worse and that i really did notice, the gettign worse part as it went on...
Does that mean that one could control it and walk around in this SP state?? Kind of like an outer body experience?? I ask because of this other simliar experience i mentioned but in that i had gone in to the bathroom when this thing got hold of my spine and lift me up and paralyzing me. The "dream" had the exact same feel but i remember not being so scared when i felt a presence which i did right before the spine thing... and then i woke up. Thinking about it, the whole walking around makes me unsure about if I was really having SP.

I read that Melatonin helps making it better if itīs a problem. You mentioned you have it bad so have you tried using some?? Itīsonly been a couple of times for me and even if itīs real scary I want to do it again...

Thanx again for getting me on track you two!!

Go the the Tutorials section of this site and read up on a technique called WILD. Basically, it's a technique where people deliberately go through sleep paralysis (SP) and then enter directly into a lucid dream. If you learn to do that, you should be able to get some control over the dreams.

      Good luck with it!!

Thanx for the tip!! You help put things a little bit more in perspective! The tiny lucid experience I have had so far has been so random. So yes! Thanx!
