Thread: I did it finally

Well after about 2 months of trying i finally had a lucid dream last night. It was really funny, I was just walking around in the woods near my old house and I walk right through a branch so I hold my nose and breathe in and I can breathe!! I got really excited so I turn around and for some reason theres this fat girl standing there so I go up and give her a big hug because I was so happy and then I woke up. It was really weird. Just thought I'd share my success and for everybody who is having trouble with lucid dreaming there is hope after all. Just stick with it.

WOW. after looking at when I actually joined dreamviews its been a total of 7 months!
I didnt think it was that long.

Hey there BirdMan! Congratulations on the LD! Did it just happen or were you using a technique? Now that you've experienced one, it should get easier to have more.

And I know what you mean about time flying. It seems like I haven't known about LDing for long, but it also feels like I've been at DV forever! Glad you've stuck around!

Nope. wasnt using any techniques although I did wake up 4 hours into my sleeping which I suspect had a lot to do with it.
And your right, I had my second LD last night, i feel a third coming up tonight! hahah i hope.
