Dreamed that I was lucid in a dream?

Well, in my dream the first thing I remember was being in my basement watching TV. I seemed to be reminded of a dream I had years ago while I was in the dream. That one took place in the exact same spot, and it was when I went upstairs, something (dunno, think it was nightmarish) bad would happen. I really didn't want to go upstairs, and it was like I knew (in this dream) that I was having that old one, so I was sorta lucid thinking I was dreaming of that old dream, while not aware I was already in one. I wanted to wake up, so I tried turning my TV volume up. I don't really remember much after that. Just thought I'd share this, sorry if it's a bit hard to understand.

That happened to me the other night. I had a false awakening and remembered having a lucid dream in the dream within a dream. Then everything changed and I got distracted. My question is: Is is possible to create false memories in a dream? I don't technically remember having the lucid dream, I just remember remembering it. I don't know if this makes a lot of sense.
