partial success with sexuality trigger (SILD?)

Hi, brand spankin' new here. I've never had trouble remembering dreams and most of my dreams are pleasant or mostly pleasant. When something seems to be becoming unpleasant I'm able to will it away pretty much unconsciously. My dreams are generally pretty weird, but weird in a good way, and, as you can imagine, a good number of my dreams have involved attractive young women. A few years ago when I was extra sexually frustrated (mmm sex) I started thinking of the possibility of being able to exert some sort of control in my dreams - to make it where I can dictate what was happening. I had never really considered trying to make the dream lucid, just make it so that when an attractive lady appeared in a dream I could cause intimacy. I basically just concentrated on it a few nights in a row and ever since then it happens a few times a month completely unbidden. I feel a *bit* of control, but not much. All I feel is a sort of pressure from a tiny bit of myself, and the dream bends a bit to my will. No, these are not wet dreams. So last night was a bit different. I was going through a regular dream when my little sexual trigger kicked in - only this time I felt really damn close to consciousness. I knew it was a dream, I could control my actions, and I was almost conscious (I was also in 3rd person as in most of my dreams. Think this may have kept me from consciousness?). After a few seconds I felt myself awakening and held it off a bit, but then I awoke. So now I'm here looking for a way to capture that touch of lucidity. Anyone with a similar "trigger" have any advice? Any advice on developing a trigger? If I make headway I'll let you guys know. If not, I"ll put the lucid dreams next to the ski's I never use, the karate uniform I never wear, and... yeah, you get the point. Thanks in advance

Welcome to DV! So have you been able to become Lucid on a consistent basis? I had an LD that was triggered by sex, and one LD that faded into something less than desirable for me. I suppose if it happens often enough you can turn it into a dream sign. And out of sheer curiosity, how old are you? -Amé
