Dream about being lucid or lucid moment?

      Hello,
I've never been able to recall any of my dreams, until I read about lucid dreaming and wanted to be able to do it. So I started a dream journal last Tuesday. The first 2 nights I've been able to recall 1 dream each night. The third night I recalled 3 dreams, because I woke up 3 times during the night.
Then I fucked up my dream recall from Friday to Wednesday due to smoking weed

But yesterday I tried again with Man of Shred's dream recall tutorial, but allthough I woke up three times during the night, I just remember one short scene:

I was in some kind of garden with a girl (somehow she was a princess, but not looking like one?) and she grabbed me by the hand. When I looked down at my hands I thought: "Holy fuck I'm dreaming". Then I shouted something and I had somehow control over my body, but I felt that every move took me a lot of power and I knew that I'll wake up soon. So I just tried to kiss the girl, but everything went black before I could.

My problem is, that because of my weak dream recall I'm not sure if I just dreamt that I was lucid or I really was.

Is it possible that I just dreamt that without being lucid?
      Goals for March & April:
[ ] Remember at least 8 dreams per week
[ ] Describe one dream in detail in my dream journal every week

Hey, I'm new to this too.

      I think it is possible.

I've had a couple of similar experiences, but with an even lesser degree of control. I just had an internal recognition that I was having a dream but I couldn't act on or make use of that knowledge in any way. It was as though the dream was replaying the memory that I had determined to become conscious - in fact, inside the dream I actually watched a video about lucid dreaming that I had seen that day...

Being lucid just means "Knowing that your dreaming" So if you said 'I'm dreaming' it doesn't matter how the recall/control/vividness was, you were lucid!

This post explains it nicely, on how you can classify a lucid dream. Really, it's up to you decide Only you know how it felt.

My guess is, it's a low-level lucid dream; meaning, you were lucid because you were conscious that you were dreaming, however, you didn't have a lot of control and the dream itself was unstable.

There are some threads written on stabilizing a dream, also there's a tutorial on dream control, which you should only do once the dream is stable!
