awake -> LD -> SP -> deep sleep

I have been having lucid dreams in the morning after waking up. After the dream, I feel all my muscles heavy & tired, and get flashes of my LD back, promptly going back into a deep sleep. Sometimes this cycle goes on twice.

I want to *NOT* go back into a deep sleep. twofold, its time to wake up and I want to recall my lucid dream better.

      Hey 10301,

      Welcome to the forums!
If I understand your question correctly, you are asking on how to recall your dream better when you wake up?
If so, I do have the answer.

When you wake up, you may not remember the dream details completely, or if you had a dream at all. However, there is a solution. Lie on your back with your arms at your sides, and just wait for a little bit. Your body will think you are trying to go back to sleep, and I don't know exactly why it happens, but your brain is then flooded with memories of the dream. If anyone knows why that happens it would help both of us here, but it does happen however. That would be your best bet in that case. A way not to fall asleep, is to let your mind wander, but keep it on a leash. If you let it wander too far, you will slip into a deep sleep.

Enjoy your stay and welcome once again, I hope I helped a bit,

Sounds like the perfect time to do a dream journal to me -- if you still remember, and don't mind waking up, keep a book next to you. Write down what you remember immediately -- I've had many instances where I've not even remembered writing the entry, but on reading it again the dream often comes back to you and gradually it will help you remember the dream.

At which point you can feel free to get up and not worry about remembering the dream, as you have a perfect method to remind yourself of it.

I'd rather be asleep and living than awake and dreaming.
