      Hello

Hello. I'm (I'm not telling you all my real name) and am.... well, completely new to this concept.

I recently discovered Lucid Dreaming while studying up on hallucinations and other psychological subjects. I was intrigued by the idea, and have decided to come here (since it's a lucid dreaming forum).

      So, good day!

EDIT: Also, can I feel physical sensations in a dream?
Basically, I want to try this metal exercise for the purpose of recreation. Plus, I'm a thirteen year old boy in puberty, so you can guess what kind of recreation that is....

      Welcome!

Since you are brand new I suggest you check out the Tutorials section

I most recommend the DILD, Reality Check, WBTB, Dream Recall, and Clarity tutorials.

Yes, of course you can feel physical sensations in dreams. Very vivid dreams tend to feel exactlly like real life.

Lucid dreams are as real(if not MORE real) as/than real life. And yes, you CAN do that thing you are thinking of

Hi, and thank you all for your responses!

BTW, I don't have an excellent dream recall but.....

I am usually aware that I am dreaming when I am. I know that I dream every night, but usually I forgot what it was about. I just sort of "watch" my dream, like a movie, though. And, strangely, I tend to see it in third-person.

I also can recall my dreams fairly well.
