      Hey all

      Hey everyone,

Nice site you've got going. I must admit I had my doubts when I first finished reading through the original website, it seemed to me that people
could just make up dreams and pretend that they could "lucid dream" etc. but obviously there wouldn't be much point The first night after finding this
site I had like a 2 second LD, got excited (as I've read is often the case) and immediately the dream world was lost. I would've tried looking at my feet
or spinning, except I had been using HILD so I was of course in a WBTB dream, lying down... I didn't originally intend on using HILD or any other special
technique immediately, but I was a little discouraged when I set my alarm for 3:00am and didn't remember a thing when I woke up Even had my little
dream journal laid out, ready to write. Interestingly my shirt was drenched with sweat I then tried the HILD technique. Turns out I remembered a part
of my original dream like an hour later when I was driving to school (pretty scary that my mind was wandering on the road, but I figured it was just my
subconcious working for me... got a feeling it'll prove helpful to me in my future LD attempts
Geez, sorry for writing such a long post, didn't mean to drag on so much.
Thanks for the greeting btw wasup.

Hey, Yeah this is a very cool site / forum.
Congrats on having another lucid dream, i myself have only been a member of this forum for about 1 month and the same for knowing about LD'in. Im still yet to actually have a lucid dream but am really close to having one! Last night i told myself repeatedly that i was going to fly aswell as recognize i was dreaming. I did too! it was only for a short period of time and i wasnt actually lucid but it was well cool.

Welcome to DV, Bricnic! I'm glad you've enjoyed your stay here at DV so far and have even managed to get lucid for a time. For some reason I can never seem to have an LD over 30 seconds, so don't feel back about short LDs

I'm kind of curious which techniques you were using. You mentioned WBTB, but when you said HILD it didn't sound like it was Hypnosis induced. It sounded more like MILD, where a phrase is often repeated (and the source of my most recent LD) while going back to sleep. It sounds like you've got the right idea, though.

But yah, if you have any questions feel free to ask. We're glad to help you out here. Sweet Lucid Dreams!

Anytime Anyways, keep posting... you'll like it here. Have you thought about the adoption program yet?

Well I was a little confused about the name of the technique I was using... I went back into the history of Internet Explorer and found that page I was looking at. It was another technique with the initials HILD but it wasn't hypnosis induced, something like Hargart's something-or-other technique

As far as joining the adoption program, sounds good 'cept it hasn't quite been a week yet let alone two. Might just take a look at all the possible adopters for a little while longer.
