New, but I think I just found my hobby.

Dreams have always caught my intrests, but this site finnally helped me make more out of it!

Anyway I have a question. Two nights ago I found this site. I read a lot of the tutorials and other topics. Yesterday I started doing RCs in my daily routine. Then last night I did the nose holding thing in my dream and it worked! I rembered to anchor and everything and I really enjoyed myself. I practiced flying (with some success) and other minor things. Anyway, my question is, was this a DILD? It seemed like I did this too quickly... I thought it would take a lot more time to actually have a LD.

First of all, welcome to DV!

DILD stands for dream induced lucid dream, or dream initated lucid dream. Which means that something in the dream makes you realize that you're dreaming.

The definition of a lucid dream is: Being aware of the fact that you're dreaming. If you were aware of the fact that you were dreaming, congratulations, you've had your first lucid dream

The time it takes to get a lucid dream is extremely personal. Some people will get their first only a few days after reading/hearing about it, whereas others will have to struggle for months to get one.

You seem to be on the right track! Keep it up!

      Happy lucids!
