I think the first type of dream you're talking about when you get it from the start is a DILD, where you realise you're dreaming for within the dream. The second one you're talking about is a DEILD, a method similar to the WILD. |

The only Lucid Dreams I've ever been able to have, or have had, have involved me knowing from the very start of the dream that I was dreaming. Another trait about them is that every time I go back to sleep after waking up from one, I'll immediately have another (and am able to still remember all of them afterwards). |

I'll have to agree with DreamKnight, though I think the first one is a WILD. The 2nd one is definitely a DEILD. It's possible to remember all of the chained dreams, but becomes more difficult the more dreams you chain along the way. Welcome to the forum. |

The first dream that starts the chain is interesting. I'm definitely asleep before they happen. Perhaps the dream starting wakes me up somehow? As for the chains, they just involve me doing the same thing, going to sleep and knowing from the start, though I can't say for sure that it wasn't a normal WILD and I just forgot it forming. |
