      dreamscaper

Hi I am new here. I was doing some research about dreamscapers. My friend was asking me about them and I have never heard that term before. I tried running a search on various search engines and came up with this site. Could any one please tell me what dream scaper is? Thanks a bunch!

As far as I know, a dreamscaper is a lucid dreamer who edits the enviroment in thier dreams, to create different landscapes, I could be wrong though.

Welcome to DV, FireIvyFlight! Have you known about LDing for a while or did you just stumble across this site? Either way, I'm glad you joined us and I hope you enjoy our community.

Dreamscaping, as far as I understand, is when a dreamer creates their own environment/setting, but others also associate it with dream-sharing. Some believe that if two or more people can dreamscape the same settings they'll be able to actually communicate with other dreamers. I'm extremely skeptical when it comes to the idea of dream-sharing and put very little faith in it, but that's just my opinion.

      Sweet Lucid Dreams!

Actually I have been LDing for a while. My family has a talent for it. I have not looked in to very much though. It comes very naturally for most of us (my family). I am able to control my dreams pretty well, I know when I am dreaming, and I am able to direct where I go in dreams. But as for actual training and such and information regarding such I am lacking. I do have a very strange habit that was just brought to my attention though. It seems that when I am sleeping during the night I all of a sudden sit straight upright then falling back limp. My mom says I use to do that a lot when I was a kid, and I have been doing that a lot now. The strange thing is that usually I am very good at dream recall and just over all remembering my dreams but on the days when I bolt upright I don’t seem able to remember them. Do you have any idea why this is?
