New here, question about a dream

hi, my names alex. im new here and i have a question about a dream my girlfriend has been expiriencing and were both wondering what it could mean. Heres our story. Me and my girlfriend are both 16 and juniors, becoming seniors (hell yeah baby) in highschool. well, weve been dating for exactly seven months now. her parents have been divorced and her mom currently lives in florida, and her dad here in chicago with me. well, recently her dads been tough times, and started drinking alot of alcohol, and has been verbally and emotionally abusive twords her. every other month she goes to see her mother in florida where she lives. this month, shes with her mom. shes been telling me that shes having these dreams that she physically can not touch me. i havent gotten much more then that but shes told me that im in her dream she just can not physicallly come in contact with me, like theres some sort of barrier holding her back. shes also told me that she has woken up from these dreams scared half to death and also crying. Im not the expert, you guys are. What can this mean? is it just that she misses me? i havent seen her in twenty days. Please, help me out. thank you.

If she's waking up scared it could indicate that she's afraid of losing you, or that there'll be some consequence from being away from you for too long. You might also be correct in that she's experiencing stress from being away from you (she misses you).
