      Hello fellow lucid dreamers!

I just signed up today at DV but I've been studying lucid dreaming for over a year now and I've had some success but all of that has been random and uncontrolled. I figure getting some useful tips and suggestion from other LD'ers will help me get on track to what every LD'er wants, the ability to do it whenever we chose. Also looking forward to making some new friends in the process and generally have a fun time sharing my dreams with all of you and hoping you'll share yours too . MY name is Kurt btw.

thank you both, I was actually just reading one of you posts mascot the one about LDing at the wrong time. I cant say i have the same problem or offer much help but i the REM cycles are a key part of Lucid dreaming so if you can wake up an hour or 2 before you normally would that greatly increases your chance at attaining lucidity. In my own studies i found that taking a nap at around three in the afternoon gave me a lot more success in gaining lucidity. The last lucid dream i had occured June 17th and that was just chance where it just hit me that i must be dreaming and i did a RC by pinching my hand and it didnt hurt so i knew I was dreaming.
