Is that a typo you can or can't have a lucid dream?

      Welcome PoisonIvy00100

      Your name makes me shreek

I had beginners luck. The first night I heard of the concept I had a lucid dream.
As far as an easy way. I can't tell you what is right for YOU. I suggest you take a look through the Tutorials and try some of the techniques.
And if you have any questions PM a dreamguide or a Mod!

It was about a month for me, but I wasn't trying. I was just recording my dreams and one night I got lucky and had one.

How I got my first LD was I went to sleep normally and in my dream someone said something that couldn't normally happen, so I realized that this must be a dream. I reality tested by sticking my finger through my hand and it worked.

Also, make sure that you have a good dream recall. If you only remember 0-1 dream a night, chances are you probably won't have a lucid dream.

Or you won't remember even if you had one. It's good to keep a dream journal, so you can see what kind of things usually happen in your dreams (dreamsigns). I had my first LD after keeping a dream journal for week or two, and occasionally trying to WILD. It was DILD anyway, but trying WILD might help to get DILD the same night, because you think about lucid dreaming while attempting WILD. Reality checking is also a good way to get LD.
Don't think about those damn kangaroos.
