haha....sorry..dont mean to laugh *ahem* well these are things that i've seen or heard of my friends doing to get rid of one 1. Comb it or something against the skin 2. Put an ice cube on top of it or rub it against the skin 3. Get a spoon and put it against the hicky...or something...i know it involved a spoon though... it probably be best if someone backed up my answers since im not sure...although i am positive that 1 involves a comb, 2 involves an ice cube, and 3 is a spoon btw...did you google it to see if there were any sites on this?

thanks for the tips nightowl. ive been putting an icepack on it so i hope that works. sorry for erupting in anger, but i wouldnt be so mad if prom wasnt THIS saturday!!!! ahhhhhh!!! its on my neck so i cant cover it with a necklace. and i wanted my hair up my bf is usually good about not leaving marks but why do i have to get this fat ass bruise on my neck now??? for now ill wear my hair down and put concealer like adidas said (though its still noticiable), but when prom comes...?????

Sweaters are your friends. As for prom it should be gone by then. I had a hickey for 58 hours at most. They can't last too long.

ohh come on! it's just prom! i thought you were cheating on your boyfriend and you had to hide it from him when he got back from where ever!!! haha. nobody cares about prom. the more potent idea at prom is how 'you' look. -- my point is clearly stated in your query. you only care about how you look. this goes the same for others... for the most part they'll be self-conscious and worrying about their zit or untamable hair or slightly wrinkled suit... don't worry. if you conceal it enough to keep it from blatant sight... then i think you should be fine. -jakelles p.s. i'm drunk

update: i found my old mineral makeup (stored it since its not good concealing my zitplantation face ). it conceals my neck perfectly (without any of those crappy makeup streaks) im so happy . ill be sure to post pics of the prom, i hope i have fun. but now i have a running nose from hell, three tests tomorrow, a dress to pick up from the tailor and get pressed, and...

Sounds like you've got it under control, but I just thought I'd mention you stick the spoon in the freezer and hold it up against it if you're using the spoon. Haven't actually tested it, but it might work.
