      My cd burner seems to be making weird cds...

      My cd burner is making weird cds. I burned one and one song was cut and others had some blank spots on it. Another one was really messed up, because every now and then it would rewind the cd. It would be 3 mins into the song and then just skip to the first ten seconds of the song. It also happened that the song reached a certain point and then continued in the track before it. I thought it was because I was burning too fast, so I tried burning it slower, but then the songs on the cd were all in slow motion. I dunno what's wrong with it... It might be because sometimes a friend sends me an msn message while I'm burning a cd (I'm a dumbass and I leave msn on while burning if I happen to be on the internet). What do you think it is wrong with it?

      What program are you using to burn your CDs?

      It could be bad cd's. Also try using a different cd burning software "nero burning rom is the best".

      Yeah, I use Nero for Windows and KB3 for Linux. They're both good...I'd say your problem could be the extra program running, or it could be the CDs..

      I use roxio easy cd creator 5 basic.

      Use Nero Burnin' ROM, that's never failed me before. Except that SHITTY DVD codec. It takes like 8 hours to make one DVD then dies after 7 hours and 30 minutes.
