I know of a couple of Goons that are members of this forum. And if you don't know what a Goon is then you probably aren't one. I'm just curious to see how many SA members are also members here. My username there is GimmeBackMyLeg. Please include your SA username as well if you would like.

you mentioned the term 'Goons' it used to be an old british comedy (before the days of Monty Python). With you saying 'any fellow goons out there' i thought you were refering to fans of the show with Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan and Harry Secombe.

The Goon Show was a revelation to all the latent eccentrics who populated the UK. Goon Show humour bridged political persuasion, the British class system. Academics, white-collar workers, blue-collar workers and even those just wearing vests all shared in the crazy, zany antics of Bluebottle, Eccles and Neddie et al.[/b]

I guess Somthing Awful has based it around the Goons show.
