I came up with it back when I was doing psychedelics a lot, because it was so easy for me to do when I was tripping or rolling. Around here people do a dance called stomping in clubs a lot, which is pretty much as basic as it sounds, so I started out with that and just developed it over time as I went on by trying things here and there. All of my friends know all that and already think my dancing is energetic, but they all think that my dance is a lot simpler than it is. Basically, I imagine it as like becoming a 3D music visualizer.... I use full arm, finger, and leg movements to draw intricate and generally symmetrical psychedelic patterns all around me as I move around the floor. Not to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty good at it, but particularly when I'm fucked up. For a long time I needed to be really stimulated for it, but after I got used to doing it just being really high would make it a lot easier. That's how I practiced it all the time, so now when I do it when I am really high I can pull of some ridiculous moves. Falling into those patterns just comes so naturally to me.... But until now, I had never actually showed the full dance to anyone. I suppose I always thought it just looked really over the top or silly, but now that I'm getting so confident with it, I've been taking more risks.... So that other night, when my friend was still really peaking on her trip, I started doing my dance to some really heavy club music I had playing. I got really in the zone (still not my best though, I did a lot better not long before typing this) and went all out with it, and I got a genuine jaw drop out of it. :D I can't even repeat what she said about without feeling like I'm just bragging again. I'm really excited because I'm pretty proud of it. The only downside is that it's hard to get that into it for a very long time when I'm that high, but I'm really getting better at it just in general too. It just felt really good to get some positive feedback about it after years of work in private. :content:
