heres something to discuss. I uploaded a picture I did ON THE COMPUTER, Paint Shop Pro (therefore it is pixel art I believe) and I submitted it under pixel art. the staff deleted it saying "It isn't pixel art i'm afraid." if it's not pixel art then what the hell is it?

I had that problem with the first pictures I uploaded. They're all made in the computer therefore I thought it was pixel art but apparently that is art where you manually edit each pixel so I put it under independent art instead. I signed up this weekend and uploaded my pictures today (again). My username is "StalkerInTheShadows". (I know it's long but my normal username was already taken.

Pixel art is when you go into some picture making thingy and make your picture PIXEL BY PIXEL.. Very tedious if you ask me. Well, I suppose you can use things like the line, paintbrush, pencil, fill box, and spray paint, but its definantly not something in Photoshop with awesome filters and crazy lighting effects or anything like that. Normally not many colors since they all have to be hand picked. What your picture is is just digital art. Means it was made with a computer, but probably a more advanced picture editing program.

HA! muffins for Aphius. <33 oh! and Lowercase too. * nod nod* and thank you Lost Soul and Artelis, I went on Paint Shop Pro 5, did the pixel art, then used the "blur" option. looking up the definition of the word "pixel" I'd say it's still pixel art. but, whatever. ok what should I submit it as then?
