It's pretty good so far, I've had it for a while but only read about half so far (it's not a long book).... but with books, I read maniacally for a few weeks then don't read for a few weeks, then maniacally again xD
I saw all these birds in my yard and took a picture. I had to mark them in paint to count them. There are 98 visible. Ooh, looks like I missed one, so perhaps 99.

Yesterday's ride. I'm finding it unexpectedly addicting to be able to do this nearly every day before work. (I've also dropped a little over 10 lbs, in the 2 weeks that I've had my bike. :))
Spoiler for Spring to Spring Trail, Section 1:
You realise that's a girls bike, right?
Also. Stop using bleach
Oh and O' I was going to post this last time, and in fact I did but then I deleted it coz I thought I just saw the picture wrong....
You should have your brakes pointing down at around a 45 degree angle, instead of straight out. Apparently it is really damaging to your wrists long term
to have them straight. Takes a little getting used to but it's way more comfortable.
And LOL at "don't harass the Alligators" sign. Somehow I think that's sort of self-regulatory
I know. I keep trying to remember to fix them before I go on my rides, but I'm usually already moving before I remember that they are off. The left brake is actually even a little higher than straight out. It's just that, once I get going, I'm always like; "fuck it, I'll do it later." Then, when I get done with my ride, I just pack my shit up and start getting ready for work. Lol.
I'll do it before I go out today. :)

1. This isn't a girly bike. At least it's not pink. Purple = royalty. Not only applied for women.

That's some HARDCORE stuff there bro.
2. I'm too lazy to put the bleach away, since no one comes into my apartment complex, so might as well have it there when I get ready to go to the laundromat anyway.
It's not as if I bleach my skin or anything.
Also:
Spoiler for Why do I keep getting pics of girls when I try to do a sneak attack of pic snapping?:
College Station and Austin/UT look a lot alike.
I'll post pics tomorrow.
YAY. Actually, College Station might be a bit more relaxed and quiet than UT. :P
Hehe. I think he means the frame design, which technically makes it a girls' bike.
(Honestly not sure if you knew what he meant, or were just being satirical. Disregard this, if you knew, though. :P)
Also: FIXED!
http://i.imgur.com/WigtVl.jpg
I think I should shift my bike brakes to that angle as well.
Oh, and I wasn't being satirical, I really didn't think it would be considered a girly bike :P I didn't know what he meant hahaha.
Now I feel sad knowing that I ride a girly bicycle, but I can't spend money on a new bicycle, otherwise my father would just get angry and whine about silly things. And the bicycle I have really sucks, if I try to stand up and ride to go faster, it might get loose and shift off from the gears.
I wish I had a better bicycle =( Yours looks cool :D
Definitely feels a lot better, after I adjusted the brake/shifter levers, you should try it. The reach for them feels much more natural.
And don't worry too much about the gender thing for now. There's a difference between just riding a bike for fun and needing to use it as a mode of transportation. So you know, though, generally, the bikes that you see with the lower top bars on the frame are for women. They made them that way, back in the day, so that women can comfortably slip their leg over the bar without having to hike up their skirts and show off the goods all the time. Most shops now make them a little more androgynous, but some manufacturers still use that design.
Thanks for the compliment on the bike, though. I definitely know what you mean, about the horrible shifting. The bike I have now is the first 'decent' mountain bike I've ever had. All of the other ones I've ever owned came from Walmart. They did me ok at the time, but after the first ride I had with this bike, the difference was like night and day, even though this one is used. If you are really interested in a new (or maybe not so new) bike, I would suggest checking out craigslist. You can find some decent used bikes for under the $200 mark. Depending on your funds, it might take a little bit to save for, but it's definitely worth it!
Took a little ride through Lake Helen yesterday. Was about to venture into Cassadaga (the "Psychic Capital of the World"), but was running late on time, so I had to start heading back in.
Spoiler for Pics:
Haha, I think we can all identify with that rationale.
I just really hate bleach. tbh I think it should be illegal. It's so bad for the environment, specifically the ocean.
My bike was doing that as well, if I tried to go too fast/pedal too hard the chain would just slip off the gears.
Still haven't got around to figuring out how to fix it, I think you need to adjust the derailer/derailleur (the thing that pulls the chain off one cog and on to another).
But I also need new wires as well, so I don't know if adjusting it works yet.
I just bought a new cheap mountain bike, works pretty well, but much harder to ride on the road than my other bike.
Oh yeah and don't worry about having a girl bike lol Who cares, really. They all work!
Another nice ride today. ALMOST got a picture of two deer, but I was just too damn slow on the trigger. It completely made my day, though.

Wow, Puffin! You're like public enemy number one! :P Like I said in the other thread, I'm pretty sure mine is only a few days lol. Hopefully they'll have forgotten by the time it expires if they're still around. :teeth:
 Wow, what did you do, lol? Last I knew we both pretty much did the same thing to the same extent :?
I think they were just getting more severe as more people were banned, like I'm pretty sure I was first or at least one of the first people banned and I got almost nothing.

How can people be banned until 2014 and still be here? Was it on the other site?

Well technically learning the right way to use chopsticks is hard. If you know you can pick up round or smooth objects with the chopstick without much force, then you have mastered the art of it!
But she looks like she's crossing the chopsticks when picking up food. That was the easy way of learning it, till I noticed how my grandma holds it.
It should probably look something like this:

But good job if you're holding it the right way! Took me a few years to learn it and I'm still not so good at it. I prefer my spoon. :P

^Ahhh looking at those pictures makes me want to go cycling and hiking and be surrounded by nature! Stupid urbanized Flanders.
Historical since 1992? Gods, I'm getting old.
It's so much fun. I've been getting about 10 miles in, every day before work. (Usually takes about an hour.) Either I'll hit one of the bike trails in the area, ride around my own city, or throw the bike on the back of the truck and just pick some random spot I'd never been and ride around there. I'm surprised how easily I became committed to it, though. It reminds me of going on aimless biking adventures as a kid. Lol.
Heh. You and me both, man.
Wow before work, what time does your work start?
That's some discipline you have!
I also cycle down to Wallonia sometimes because it's much more picturesque and calm there, but I only do this in the summer, because it's nicer in the sun... :) I guess it's all year round sunny in Florida!
4:30pm, for now. :)
It's funny, because discipline has always been a problem for me. (It still kinda is. Lol.) So far, this has been the easiest workout to keep up with, just because it's so enjoyable.Quote:

Whoops, never mind then. Sorry about that, it's Aggieland over here. :P
Edit: What Alyzarin said, sorry about the confusion there Erii :P

I saw how earlier OwO replied when you mentioned it earlier, which once when her and I talked, we were talking about the one in Kansas and realized we had both been there and ahfoahfds yeah. Nevermind xD
I lived in a hotel for 3 months in Aggieland due to Hurricane Ike trashing my town. I was going to A&M Galveston and the whole school ended up relocating to College Station for the duration of the semester. I went to my archaeology class in a church.
So Link if you see the Plaza Hotel, take a picture of it because I lived there for a while, lol.
I think I should walk around Aggieville one of these days and take pics for this thread.
