Hey guys. Thanks to this website ---> http://www.urbexers.tk/ I decided to try a little urban exploration in my town (Bolton). Here are some pics.... The first place i looked at was a disused Railway Bridge...It's completely overgrown with plants and trees Notice all the trees on the left? Looking across to the second bridge, which it links up with Spooky Railway tunnel (NOT disused) The next stop was the River Croal, which flows under the town at several points... Neat looking Victorian arches The entrance to the first tunnel, about 15 feet high Inside the tunnel, looking out Entrance to the second tunnel...note the weird looking shack-thing Inside the tunnel Entrance to the third tunnel A step weir inside the tunnel, about 6 feet tall The final part of the tunnel...definatly the most unnerving Finally, daylight! The exit of the fourth (and most dull) tunnel. The third tunnel goes underground for about half a mile and is quite spooky. The whole walk is about 2 miles long.
