I wear a mask every day. It's called a smile. Online, though, there are no masks. Except for my name, I am as I am. What do I care if someone who lives a billion miles away from me dislikes the real me? I don't have to face them everyday.

I used to wear a mask all the time. However now I'm changing. I'm beginning to state my beliefs openly, and if people think I'm weird, then fcuk them

Well thanks. And by the way, I didn't type that with the intent to be mean. I just reread it and thought it came off a bit rough. But yeah, no masks here. Except for the name.

Sometimes you are forced to even change your personality..unless you wanna get beat up or shot at.. The world is cruel, and you have to wear a mask sometimes, else you wont survive sadly.

One day I'll remove the mask, I would probally die but at that point I wont care.

No masks on the internet though.

People that know me know I am not lying, but I really am like I am. I say what I think, I do what I feel like doing. I really hold nothing back.

Most people think I am insane because of it, or I am weird(to say the least) but that is why they like me. I won't lie, sometimes I am tempted to "act my best", tone it down (or something to the likes) with a certain person, but I really try to be as much of myself as I can. That is the only thing I might consider to be anything like a mask, though, it really isn't. I am not being somebody else, my views and opinions are all the same, I just show a more serious intelectual part of myself.

I sometimes think I have several different personalities, all variations in tone of the same "ego" and the proportions of certain of my characteristics. I use them depending on the person or occasion, or how I am generally feeling. Its hard to describe, but all I know is that I am always myself, and my integrity is the most important thing for me. I do not care for people that are posers or "phonies"(to get all holden caufield on you), and I would never forgive myself if I ever found out I was one myself.

Integrity is a personal thing, something that, although most people won't know if you have it or not, is one of the most important things in life, IMO. It is just a step towars self-realization, a product of self-knowledge, and if you can't have that attribute for yourself, then what can you have?
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...
