In 24 hours

This is just a random thought inspired from a song I'm listening to right now: If you found out a close friend had only 24 hours left to live (for whatever reason), would you tell them and how would you make thier last day special? I want honest answers here, to what you would do. NOT what you'd like to think you would do. For me, I wouldn't tell them about it, it would just get them worried (quite understandable) and they really wouldn't be able to enjoy themselves. For what I'd do for the last day... well I probably wouldn't act like anything was up, but I'd be doing my best to make them comfortable and just do whatever they wanted for the day. Sure my answer was pretty boring, but that's honestly what I'd probably do. What about you?

If it was a chick i think my answer is fairly obvious on how id let her last 24 hours great, but a guy hmmm steal some whisky buy some pot go into the woods with a bunch of friends and all get really fucked up.

I would do something really dangerous but funny, like steal that guys towels off his garden. And other stuff good you know, stuff, fun stuff, to have fun with. Then we could go together...

Oh wow... one of my close boarding school mates had a car-crash the other day... rolled it and how he died I do not know.. it got me thinking about all this though. After spending four years in boarding school with someone you don't know how incredibly close you come, and if he had died I would be a complete wreck, same with any other of my mates. I started thinking though... well another mate wrote his car off too a while back, and they were both lucky I guess, but out of all my mates who would be the first one to die? It really got me down I guess. So how would I make his last 24 hours as best as possible? I'd get all my other mates and go round to his house with a shitload of booze and cigarettes and we'd drink and smoke and talk allll day long, without stop. We'd go out and have fun, do all the stupid shit we used to do in the boarding house.... just something where you're having so much fun you forget that he's about to die.

i'd ask them the same question and hope they dont realise why.Then whatever they said they would do to make my last day special, i would do for them.Exept i'd add in some booz,hookers, and maybe even drugs.I wouldnt tell him hes about to die but i'd ask him how he would like to die so then i could help him die in a way he aslways wanted to.i meen i wouldnt want a friend to die a slow or painfull death.

I know it would involve lots of eating of the foods they love best. The reefer in the woods sounds good too, then the food.
