      A dreamviews guide for dummies

Here are the categorys for posts. A dreamviews guide bible for astral people.
ask me what that means if u don\'t know

      Ok here we go
      1) Personal post: All about us, our life, our dreams. If its not about you and your personal problems. It does not fit into this category. Make sure you ask for advice and support here.

      2) Attack mode post: This one involves battling it out for superiority, make sure you convey how wrong and scrweed up they are for this one. If you can not make them look stupid by using their own words against them. Then make sure you call them a few names and it should still fit into this category of posting. )

3)useful debate post: Discussion on something that ends up resulting in a learning experience and useful knowledge about life gained. Usually there is a higher purpose behind this kind of post. Mutual understanding and unity achieved. One of the more rare category of posts seen at DV.

      4) Raising status post: This kind of post should be used when trying to raise status. Get your quotes in the quote thread for this one. Also try and get a sticky post, as the potency of your status for creating a thread that is sticky will give you extra points. The more replies to a raising status post, the more status points you will achieve. Try something pointless, the idea is to take advatage of the illusion of superiority and separation. If you can convince them you are good. You have them hooked. If you are attractive post many pictures of yourself, this will give you extra backing in the glamour illusion. Also work on your post count. If you do not have a high post count it will be difficult to back your raising status posts.

Threatning to leave DV post: leave this one for a special occasion. The better your status posts. The more potent this one will be. This kind of post is your final glory. Make sure everyone likes you before you post this one. This is where you reap all your effort on your status posts. If you post this one to soon you are sure to be rejected and people will show you your status post have failed by letting you know they dont care about you and you are nothing. You could also try the absence of DV effect. By not even posting one in this category. Some believe it adds to thier final DV glory. And that it is more effective than posting a threatning to leave DV post, before leaving. For if you decide to come back, you will be respected for not playing the card of, I'm going to leave. And the absence can also be explained by a number of stories which can play a part in adding your staus posts. Try and make them feel sorry for you here at the same time. whatever the case. this post should be used if you are upset with something and wish to use this as a weapon against DV. The more your status. the more effective this weapon will be. A number of people can be seen using this weapon on varies accassions.

Welcoming To DV post: This is an aid and back up category for your many status posts. If your not a DG or DV staff, sadly this one is not going to be as effective to adding points. But you can still use this one. If the newbies dont know you, How will you raise your status with your status posts? Make sure you welcome and help everyone, as your status will sill gain some extra points.

I agree with icedawg and seeker post: This category of posting is your suck up strategy. Also use this with other staff members. The more they like you the more power you will have. Try and get along with everyone in staff. Collect the higher status people and make sure you are in their good books too. Even if they are not a staff member. They still may be an asset to your status posts by being in their good books. Some take the other extreme and belive going against everyones goodbooks could help to achieve ultimate power. Many have been banned or left, or had their status posts damaged nearly beyond repair for this approach. Remember to only use this category of posting for forming alliances. You will reap the rewards of this kind of posting when someone attempts an attack post on you, as your goodbook people will back you up. As they feel it is an opportunity to get in your goodbooks for a status post. the bigger and better your alliance. the more effective your status posts.

I care about you post:Use this on someone after several attack posts to balance out you inhumanity towards the other people you were stealing status from. You have to look like you care about someone. If you don't support anyone you will never get noticed and Dv members will pay little attention to your future posts. Regardless of what category. If possible wait for a big drama. Then launch into your I care about you post.

Interested in lucid dreaming post: Finally get into your lucid dreaming. This is the main reason you are here. Talk about it oftern. Convince the newbies you are passionate.
If nothing, talk about your lucid dreaming efforts at the least. Try and get good at it.This way people will look up to you. Make a journal and use the site to its fullest potential. This is the most common Post at DV as everyone is interested and loves lucid dreaming. It will be hard to survive without having some connection to this passion. Combine this post with others if needed.

Drunk post:Be careful about these ones. They apear under your name without you knowing. You will have to face what you dont remember posting. If you drink oftern, this will be like that invisible ghost you played in metal gear solid. Always an unexpected obstruction to your goals. Some believe it can increase status if in you pull this drunkpost off in you drunk state. if the screen is blurry, study it for a long time. type carefully until you are sure about spelling and grammer. the last thing you want is spelling errors to reveal your drunk state.

pointless posts:If you dont have any purpose for posting other than to make chatter and have fun. This one is for you. Keep the topic off track and don't let it develop into something with a purpose. Also can help with your post count.

User announcement and contributing post:Reap the rewards of your strength and influence here. Do what you can to practice and enjoy your power over Dv with this one.[/b]

lmao alex I am not that blind.

I saw the button a long time ago, I just never understood you press other peoples quote buttons to quote them. when I tried to quote someone I used my own quote button on my post, stupidly thinking we all had our own quote buttons. Like we do our own edit buttons.
I wondered why there was no edit button on others post I could click on. then I knew why.
I thought the quote button was not important enough to be a private button, but it was like the edit button.

In addition When I could not quote someone else using my own quote button. I quickly came to the conclusion the function must be broken and have ignored it ever since. but now I understand the true function of what it does.

it has not concerned me a great deal, until this post. I would have figured it out if it was something important.

This reminds me of the time I pressed the ground button on the elevator when we were already on the ground floor.

Ok time to update the dreamviews for dummies guide.
      Lets include kaniazs guide aswell.

      I was inspired to continue.

      post categories.

Moved on but here to visit post Once your weapon of leaving DV post threat has taken effect you need to get back into the game again. After leaving for a while this kind of post is your ticket to start over. Start by doing these posts gradually so you do not look like a total hypocrite. First post your life story since being away for a while so people will think you have changed and its time to start again. Ask a question, this will give you excuses to mingle with dv again. After a series of complex moved on but here to visit posts. You should be able to merge your way back into dv unnoticed. The bigger your finally. The more complex your induction process will have to be.

Visit my internet links post. If you ever find something interesting on the internet that makes a point about what you want to say, or share. Or is something that you wish you had written. You must use the visit my internet links post. Here is the time to take big chunks off another site that someone else has written and paste it into your post. Mention which bits you support and make comments to back up the materials validity. Don't forget to post the link where it came from. So others can do the same. its almost as good as making an original post and if done correctly people will not notice the difference. Make sure you read all the material you are encouraging people to read or you could post or support something you are against. You have enough people to argue against without dealing with yourself as well.

Starting an argument postIf there is an argument you know you can win. Or atleast gain some some extra point in.Or even if you would like to create a situation where points can be gained. Straight away make a thread for an argument. The most effective is something like. Atheist Vs christianity. Topics like this will bring all the extremist in to defend themself. They have no choice but to add there 2 cents. This is you chance. Come prepared before you even post. Have your agument ready and know what they are going to say. Make sure you are an expert in the argument and have herd it before a million times. This will give you an advantage, also look out for other argument threads where there is an oportunity to look good for your own benifit. The main thing with this kind of post is to make everyone who dissagrees with you look stupid and make yourself look good. Be careful of those who see past the illusion. But don't worry there is not many of them.

      to be continued...
