      My goals for today are:
Clean out my fridge from my Coke explosion last week!
Do my dishes (some of which have been "soaking" for 2 months)
Clean off and under the table so I can actually use it.
      Vaccuum
Dictate at least 1 chapter from "Body Language"
Catch up on my shows on Hulu

I am very proud of myself!
      >I put away ALL of my laundry before creating this thread...
      >I did half of the dishes (and they were actually SLIMY the water in them was so old and stale!) and I'm about to do the other half.
      >I cleaned the seats TO the table but not the table itself. Cleaning under it will be hardest because it's been storage for years.
      >After I do the dishes, I'm going to tackle the fridge (alcohol wipes will make the job easy).
      >I watched an episode of Bones I had missed and after the fridge I'm going to watch the Sarah Connor Terminator Chronicle I had missed.

This has been an extremely productive day.
      >I even did some Bible studying to answer a question in the Spirituality Forum.

My goal was to write these essays for entrance into a summer college program over the weekend. I actually wrote all of them today, and feel very accomplished. (It's Saturday after all. )

Now I have a goal to write another essay for some other program, I hope I'll do it within two weeks or so.

WOOT! Nicely done! I hope your other essay is written just as "easily".

Seeing how it's now officially Sunday, my goals are:
      >CLEAN THE FRIDGE lol
      >VACCUUM
      >Wash my last remaining pot once the sun comes up and I can fetch another gallon of water from hubby's outside faucet.
      >I also need to find "homes" for all the clutter I dug out while "cleaning" earlier.
      >Clean out the cabinets above my couch.
      >Stay awake
      >Update and charge my iPod
      >Visit my 14 year old at the Mental Facility he's currently staying at (and being discharged from on Monday).
      >Take a real bath
      >Charge my camera batteries
      >Try out my wireless XBox headset
      >Play Spore

I consider living through the day an accomplishment. Hell, it's an achievement of monumental proportions.

haha I feel the same way.
I like this idea of daily goals Zhaylin.
Today is practically over so the only goal tonight is to read at least three chapters of my book.

      for tomorrow, my goals are:

-major house cleaning since i wasnt home for the weekend and im practically the only person who cleans the house.
-reorganize the high shelf in my closet
-try to have no more than 10 cigarettes( will be hard since i smoke a lot when im cleaning)

thats about all i can think of that needs done at the moment.

      again, i like this idea
      They say life's about choices;
In the face of defeat, I decline.

Thanks LifeStandsStill. I used to post regularly at http://dbsa.invisionzone.com/index which is a forum for people with Bipolar, depression, anxiety etc and they had a Daily Goals thread that I really loved and came to miss when I driften away from them.
So I figured, why not create one here with you great guys and gals

I had a pretty worthless day.
      >I didn't go to sleep.
      >I charged my electronics
      >I cleaned out the cabinets above my couch but only half way.
      >I had an EXCELLENT visit with my son
      >Though not planned, I worked on my tattoo some more.
      And that's it.
My hair is in DIRE need of being washed.
Darn the busted plumbing in the RV!!

BUT, I will not sleep tonight either. I have to leave to see my son again at about 8AM *blah* Tomorrow we find out where he's being discharged to (Foster Home or another Facility).
SO... I plan on finishing the above chores and joys.

But I do not feel well at all (SEVERE gas lol *sigh*). I KNOW BETTER than to chew gum!!! It does it to me every time. PLUS, I had an EXTREMELY disgusting energy drink this morning (NOZ or somesuch) and energy drinks ALWAYS upset my stomach too.
Plus, I'm hungry because I only had a partial McD's breakfast and a Cheese Stick an hour ago or so, so my body is warring with itself... Gas= lack of appetite, stomach upset, gallbladder rebellion. But my gallbladder rebellion mimics hunger pains and stomach upset triggers my deuodenitis into rebelling lol

SO..... I don't know how productive I'll actually be unless the 2 Gas-X's kick in.

GRATS on cutting back on your smokes. Tomorrow night will [HOPEFULLY!!!] be my last as a smoker.

I think weekly goals would have been a better idea, easier to manage...

Your goals seem to center around cleaning. Surely cleaning should be part of a daily routeen, and not a goal for the day? And how on earth can you leave things soaking for two months????

      Anyhoo...

      My daily goals after getting home from work;
      - Pack for China
      - Re-arrange my share options
      - Go for a walk
      - Set up automated invoices for my Dad's company
      - Order Yuan's for China
      - Reply to emails waiting for me which I've been putting off all week

      Not very interested

Great goals, Adam. And a trip to China is VERY interesting!!

I only had about 6 items in the sink that needing washed. My problem is laziness. The water in the RV doesn't work properly, which means to do the dishes, I have to walk over to my hubby's outside faucet, fill a gallon jug, take it back, boil the water, wash the dishes, return for more water, rinse the dishes lol.
I don't use anything I have to wash for that reason, but those dishes had been used before the plumbing went bad. The only truly "dirty" thing in the sink was my tiny blender that converts into a cup to travel with. But I got them all done

I created a thread in Ask me/Tell me about how to organize because that's another of my big problems. I'm living in the front section of an RV. Space is limited and quickly pile up.
I do vaccuum almost every day, but our yard is a giant pine needle magnet lol and if I miss a single day it's very noticable lol.

My little fridge is an absolute pain to get to. I can't open the door all the way because it's the only place the fridge could fit, but my entertainment center is beside it because that's the only place IT could fit lol

My only goal for today is to relax and recover from my brutal weekend

Maybe one of your goals should be to fix the plumbing.

      hahhaa! Great call
I'm reliant on my hubby's whims however. He insists on repairing everything himself. But he's always exhausted and always has too much on his plate that I don't push issues.
It doesn't affect my life THAT much and he has more serious things to take care of.

A current goal is to NOT go out and buy smokes. I LIKE smoking and wish I had never started again. I wish I could check into a hospital and have them induce a coma until the nicoteine is completely out of my system. I guess sleep will have to suffice.

Great thread, Zhaylin. Maybe it'll get some of us to actually get off our asses and do the things we're meaning to do, but never get around to...out of sheer laziness, naturally. Seriously, this thread is good because of the fact that other people actually care (to some minimal degree, at least) about their goals, receiving a compliment or a mild scolding based on whether or not they kept their promises.

      At-work goals for tomorrow:

      - Take longer than normal to enter accounts payable and select/print checks...considering my boss never has enough work planned for me.

      - Don't spend any more than a couple bucks on lunch...

      After-work goals for tomorrow:

      - Write up at least a page of that (past-due as of today) essay I never bothered to do for my English class.

      - Actually do my Japanese homework.

      - Spend at least 50 minutes out biking.

      - Boogie on down to the store (while out riding) and pick up some shaving cream, new razors, and body wash.

      - Spend at least an hour practicing on my bass...I mean, Cliff Burton spent friggin' six hours a day practicing, so I really have no excuse.

      - Draw at least one picture.

      - Read at least 20 pages of the novel I'm supposed to be reading for English...also, read at least one required reading on Asian-American writers for same class.

      - Read some more of that DMV booklet.

That's about all I can muster for one day...

EDIT: One more crucial one I forgot...

      - Make an honest effort to write down any dreams I may remember upon waking up tomorrow, even if it's just a few snippets I remember.

      > Well, I certainly did end up taking a lot longer doing the checks, but not on purpose; I found a good fifty or so checks staring me in the face, so...
      > Woot. Only spent 75 cents on lunch today (a Cup o' Noodles).
X Never got around to that essay. Darn...
X Didn't get to my Japanese homework, either, although I'm sure it can be done before class tomorrow.
X Only time spent biking was my trip to the store.
      > Got the shaving materials at the store, as well as some Rice Krispies and a bag of marshmallows to make Rice Krispy Treats (however, I did totally forget the body wash).
      > Spent about half an hour playing bass and will spend another half hour playing right before going to bed.
X Didn't get around to drawing.
      > Read both the 20 pages of the novel and one article from that other book (which I must say was quite strange).
X Didn't get to the DMV booklet.
      > Remembered a wee bit about last night's dream.

      Kind of a "meh" day.

      Tomorrow's goals

      At school:

      - Try not to spend too much on lunch...again.
      - Get Japanese homework done before class starts.

      After school:

      - Draw that picture I never drew.
      - Read 20 more pages of novel + one more Asian-American article.
      - Read some of the DMV booklet.
      - Practice playing bass for an hour...and a half!
      - At least get started on the topic for essay.

Hope you meet all your goals today.

I didn't stay the night with hubby... he was so exhausted he didn't call me until 2AM. And lol his timing was PERFECT. I had just stepped outside and was walking to the car to get something to eat from Hardees when I heard the phone ring lol.

      Today's goals are easy:
      >Take a bath
      >Visit my pdoc
      >Get $200. from hubby= $100. for the other half of my weekly allowance the other for my "meds" (in truth, my pdoc gives me samples of all but one med which only costs $6.00 so I use the extra money on whatever)
      >Pick up my med
      >Use the rest of my med money to pay some child support
      >Organize the RV some more
      >Go to the Kingdom Hall for the Memorial Observance!!!! *****
      >Get a few hours sleep
      >DON'T buy more smokes!!!****
      >Finish replying to thread in Religion area here ***

****'s are my most important tasks.

      So far I have:
      Gotten a lot of sleep
Made my pdoc app. (though it was at 9AM and NOT 1PM, but he was able to see me anyhow)
I took a "sponge bath" blah
I forgot to write this one down, but I also made it to the Library, paid $1.50 in late fees and renewed my books.

Hubby is sick AGAIN (this time just a cold), so I'm not going to trouble him today about money. I'll pick it up late tonight or tomorrow before he goes to work)... so I'll also pick up my med and pay some child support tomorrow instead of today.

To add to my list, I want to dictate at least a chapter from "Body Language" by Julius Fast AND type a chapter from the Bible into my iPod- I'm so far behind in that it's not even funny.
I'm about to dictate for about an hour, then organize the RV some, then it will be time to go to the Memorial..... and then, I'll try to reply to the religion post and type up the Bible.

      **Edit**
I got my money from hubby
      Went to the Memorial
      Dictated 1 1/2 chapters
Am about to write a chapter (hopefully) of the Bible
      Organized the RV some

I had an extremely productive day and should feel accomplished, but I feel very blah.
I want to do MORE lol

      FOR TOMORROW:

      Pay child support
Pick up med (pdoc increased my script)
Visit my kids at 4:30-6:30 *****
      Dictate another chapter
      Copy another chapter
Read at least a chapter of People of the Weeping Eye
Take a REAL bath and shave
      Clean the RV some more
      Clean my car ****
      Reply to religion thread ***
Finish the puzzle I'm working on on the XBox (only 37 out of 288-ish pieces to go lol)
Clean my tattoo (needs some Neosporin (sp), very slightly infected because I've been picking at it. I KNOW better than to do that!!)

I dictated another Chapter and wrote 2 1/2 chapters of the Bible onto my iPod.
      I cleaned some more.
I clean my tat with alcohol, removed the mangled scab and put lotion on the tat to keep it from scabbing in the first place And I left off the bandage (another thing I did wrong).
And now I'm going to TRY to finally get some sleep so I won't be worthless today.

      To add to my list,
      >I need to call DHHR to find out what shelter my 14 year old son is at and when I can visit him.

I just try and survive, keeping every aspect of my life as constant as possible in the process.

Regulation of the routine is difficult enough without side-quests everywhere.

Sindred I love have you used "side-quests" though!!

It is my ultimate dream to have my life so micro-managed that I will know every aspect of every day to the last second for weeks, months and years in advance. I'm so undisciplined, though, that I'm lucky to know anything about my day and I can't keep up with even a basic schedule... but that doesn't keep me from trying or wishing for that ultimate perfection lol

      >I got about 6 hours of restless sleep
      >I visited my kids
      >I fixed my dogs house
      >I partially cleaned out my car

My day's not over yet, though, so I'll edit before I go to sleep.

lol, I never understood Facebook (it seems like it's useful for real-life contacts but not cyber ones) and ditto with Twitter.
I used to blog http://zhaylin.wordpress.com/ but I stopped once I found this place lol.
When I move back to the country, though, and lose my internet, I'll return to blogging (I use Wordpress on my iPod Touch then upload the posts once I'm in a wi-fi area). But who knows when that will be...

      >I finished my XBox jigsaw puzzle *WOOT*
      >I'm about to dictate another chapter and write another chapter unless hubby calls and actually wants me to come over tonight.
If he doesn't call, I'll be taking another shower in the rain lol. My body stays clean (boil water on the stove, bathe, rinse, problem solved), but my hair needs washed every other day and boiling water becomes a neusance after awhile.

I did learn though- DO NOT use Dawn Dish soap for shaving. My poor legs are mangled for my last attempt. I thought they were sudsy enough, but I guess not

I've had a slight headache off and on all day, so the religious thread will have to wait another day (sorry DeathCell). I'm just not in the mood for deep thinking and debate right now...
      And I'm VERY sleepy...

I did not stay over with hubby and the rain was too sporadic to take advantage of for my hair last night, but I'm otherwise clean but getting stubbly lol
      >I dictated another chapter last night but fell asleep before I could copy, so I'm about to do that after this post. I'm almost done with Zechariah, and I would like to finish it by tomorrow.

And that's it. Then I'll be either going to the movies with hubby, going to hubby's to get a bath and stay the night, or going to sleep in the RV. I am drained and very fatigued though there is no reason to be so.

Tomorrow's only real goal is to make my congregation meeting.
On Wednesday, I'll get child support money from hubby and pay everything then and pick up my med then... I think I have enough to last until then.

I know why I'm sleepy... I took half a Valium yesterday because of a headache. *Blah* Now I remember why I hate taking those things.

WOOT!! Last night I got my first true bath in what hubby swears has been 2 weeks. His sense of time is usually exaggerated and I HOPE such is the case this time lol.
I washed my hair and got rid of my stubbly legs and I feel WONDERFULLY clean and refreshed.
      >I didn't make it to my Sunday meeting because I was sick and in bed all day and all night except for my bath.
      >I dictated another chapter
      >I only managed to write another chapter of Zechariah At this rate, it's going to take me YEARS to copy the Bible onto my iPod, and by then I'll probably have a new iPod I NEED to get the lead out and get my act together!!!!!!
      >Other than that, I've slept, and slept, and slept yet some more.
      >I did clean the RV some though

      Tomorrow I need to:
      >Call the DHHR to see where my son is and when I can see him
      >Buy some Coke, food and dogfood
      >Continue smoking 1/2 pack a day or less (which is easy when I'm sleeping all day but harder when I'm not)
      >Dictate some more
      >Copy some more (both of which I will also do today)
      >Read a Chapter of People of the Weeping Eye
      >Work on another 288-ish piece puzzle (which I will start after this post)
      >Clean off the table and seats again (it seems to be my "catch-all" and is a clutter magnet)

      >I called DHHR but she wasn't there
      >I bought some Coke at a Service Station
      >Have exceeded 1/2 a pack
      >Neither dictated nor copied
      >Neither did I read
      >I almost finished the puzzle
      >Because of unexpected company, the table and seats are more cluttered than before
      >I have, however, played about 12 hours of Oblivion

      >Today I need to call DHHR back
      >I need to go to Walmart and buy myself and the dog some food as well as pick up my meds- yesterday was the last day for all of that
      >Dictate, Copy and Read at least one chapter in each
      >Clean off the table top
      >Finish the puzzle
      >Stay awake

Blah... it's going to be one of "those" days. I went to a Service Station a little after 8AM for smokes and a Fountain drink and both the Pepsi and Coke were flat so I didn't get either. But on the way home, I wished I would have kept the cup of ice.
So I stopped at another Service Station (closer to home but smokes cost more) and I bought a big bag of ice Now I'm munching away, glad I didn't get any soda...
And then the Manager of my hubby's office called, then came over for me to sign tax papers. She's going to have an even more hectic day!
