When I made my bet, the vegas spread was only 4.5 points in favor of the steelers. also, I thought that seattle dominated the first half (despite not dominating points wise).

anyways....I'm still bitter, but yes the steelers had the better team.

Yeah, I agree, the Seahawks were better first half. I didn't think too much of that game for a Superbowl actually. Nothing too spectacular. I've seen better.

And here in NZ we don't get the awesome superbowl adverts I hear so much about, so that kinda takes a little bit of the fun out of it.

Yeah we don't get any of the commercials up in Canada either. It sucks.

Good game though, loved the reverse flea flicker. Randle El to Hines Ward...Touchdown!!!

And to the international sports fans who are down on 'american' football. The only reason 'football' (soccer) is so popular is because it's dirt cheap to play.

I'm sad the Seahawks didn't win. I honestly don't care about sports very much at all, but there's always that little bit of loyalty lurking around.

This weekend I bypassed the Superbowl and the "Forester's Ball" (the biggest dance our university puts on, but who cares) in one weekend. Instead I spent last night watching "Spirited Away" and recording it on my brand new VCR! Woohoo!

I watched a bit of American Football once but all they seemed to do was play for five seconds then stop... maybe I need to watch more of it to kinda get into it I guess.

Yeah, it's a pretty complex game. Not very easy for someone to just start watching out of the blue. But once you have all the details and nuances worked out, there are few things better than a good 'american football' game.
