      DV make me a promise

hey all..its me spirit....well im writing this because im actually writing a book--at the moment i have to get the notebook back from the DA's office because they took it as evidence-which it really wasn't evidence--long story..anywho..i was gonna put up like the first chapter of the book-cuz that's really all i have typed up right now..and i was gonna ask for your people's opinion's on what u thought, but i dont want anyone to steal it from me--nto saying anyone would but im just saying im really gonna go somewhere with this book, i plan on having 2, 3 books' at the most...maybe they can get published or just for personal use..but i was wondering if i were to post it up here, or just PM the people who reply to this, the story, if that would be okay and no one would take it??

the story is about 2 klans of werewolves fighting for the moon...the main charecter Oscar's life suddenly changes when he was walking home late one night through an alley way...a figure appear's infront of him and they speak...ultimately Oscar ends up on the ground with teeth marks--where his neck and shoulder come together and huge claw marks on his chest---after being released from the hospital he goes home and finds his love of his life missing--nowhere to be found...

Oscar must come to his senses to overcome this battle of love and hate, and war...the journey for him...is just beginning...

Ah.. sounds very interesting, but ....no offense intended, how does this have anything to do with dreaming (guess it should be in the off-topic forums) ?

I understand, I'm a writer myself and there would be nothing more horrible than for people to steal your work. So.. I'd never do such a thing myself Rest assured. I can only speak for myself though.. of course

But yes, this does belong in the lounge so I'll move it there. Possibly artist corner but I'll put it in the lounge for now, as more people will read it there

Exactly. I am a writer, and I would get so sad if somebody stole something I had put my soul into. Anyway, I'd read it and I would never steal it.

Also a fellow writer, I would love to read your work.

I think its great that you're writing a book.
Im trying my hand at it also. It takes alot of time, patience and research.
Hopefully one day it will all be worth it.

      GOOD LUCK!!!

yah...i'm going to go ahead and ask about the whole "DA took it as evidence" thing in regards to your laptop. so...what happened exactly? man, i just hate it when my local DA takes stuff from me thinking it's evidence and it really isn't.
Each new day is a chance to turn it all around.

What about a simple poor man's patent? Make a hard copy of the first chapter (or however much you have written) and mail it to yourself. The post office should stamp a date on the package, and then leave it unopened when you get it back.
