So I was driving at lunch today, and I stopped at a gas station to get something to munch on. I saw this semi coming down the street, billowing unnatural amounts of smoke and idling really heavy. It stopped at the intersection just after I went into the Maverick. I grab a 99 cent cinnamon roll (which was really tasty, BTW), and walk out a couple of seconds later (YAY, exact change happened to be in my pocket). The light just turned green and the semi starts driving a little bit, clears the intersection by just a little bit (no more than 10 feet), and makes some funky noises. I hadn't really been paying attention until I heard the noises, so I turned around and looked at it, and the whole freakin' thing just went up in flames! It happened pretty quick, I was surprised. The driver got out, and is uninjured (as far as I know), but the semi kept burning for quite a while. I eventually had to get back to school, but according to some people it kept burning most of the next hour (Not entirely sure it burned that long, ambulance and firetruck were already on their way when I headed back). Still, it was SO cool to see a truck go up in flames like that. The pyro side of me was eye-gasming. I'll post some pictures of it once the newssites publish something...
