      "Lathe of Heaven"

I just watched this great movie. I liked it.

      Here's the quick synopsis:

A man has the ability that, when he dreams, his dreams alter and shape reality. He fears his dreams and what they do to the world, so he seeks help, therapy. Although, his therapist realises this ability, and begins to manipulate him and his dreams for selfish benefits.

I loved it. Go rent it.

It was made in 2002. It wasn't a box office hit, it was only a TV movie (on A&E) but it is very good.

The book, I feel, is much better (as usual) and suggest buying it for a good read. Although, the movie is also very intriguing.

OMG! Somebody has seen this besides me!

Actually, the 2002 remake wasn't NEAR as interesting as the original that was made in Dallas in the 1970's- whoever wrote it, was WAY ahead of their time.

I'll see if I can find it somewhere...

      Is it out on dvd?
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

Mostly if it isn't a commercial movie...I don't think they carry that many made for tv movies, but its worth a try....

Well hey, I live in a nowhere town right now with the population of about 4000 in the far western part of Ontario.

The video store is about the size of two master bedrooms, cramped with the sorry collection of movies - they had Lathe of Heaven So you never know - worth looking for anyway, I say.

Although, I still recommend the book over the movie.
