No. That was actually many people's guess on what the Nintendo DS was going to be like (I saw that before the DS came out, I think in 9th grade).

I know, because I am constantly looking up Nintendo data online (right now, I am looking up data on Brawl) and trying to find out more data!

I'm also constantly looking up nintendo info, but wasn't doing it before DS came out. I like this design though. I like the controller setup...You own a DS right? My only concern with it is the lack of buttons on it. I cant imagine playing mario 64 on it with just four buttons. Obviously Ive never played it but I've been considering getting the ds lite.

It may seem complex w/o more buttons, but the stylis is what acts like the joystick a lot of the time, plus there are some buttons on it as well.

Besides, it is perfect the way it is to play minigames on Mario 64 DS like Poker, 'She Loves Me, She Loves Me Not', and Card Concentration (my personal favorite, b/c no one has managed to beat my score w/o using hints, except Michelle).

Actually that was another thing I was wondering about. How do you use the buttons and a stylus? Or do you just switch. It all seems very odd to me. I'm sure it was all thought out. I probably just have to try it.

I wish it was. I don't personally own a nintendo DS, but his looks like it would be a lot more fun to play. I like the feel of a controller better, though the DS is pretty fun (i've only used one once though, so I don't remember exactly how it worked. The idea concept thing looks sweet, it's like a handheld gamecube (though I am more of a PS2 person).

      Where did you get that!???

If its fake who make the pic?

      I'd like to meet him.
When I dream, theres always a
little girl playing in the dirt, that
turns to me and says "Why are
you here? .... Are you blind like
      me?"

      What I've found
      What I've known
Never shined to me what I've shown
      Never be
      Never free
I wish to see what might have been...
...So I talk to you unbeliever.

I walk in the rain. 1111

This DS lite is amazing. So small and light and nice bright screens. Im glad I waited til it came out. The original DS never looked as appealing to me. HIghly reccomended for anyone with an interest in nintendo. This mario kart is taking me back to n64 days, only it's improved. At first I thought it was ridiculous how you have to blow into the mic to blow up the ballons but it's it's actually a pretty cool idea. I can see nintendo's not bullshiting when they talk about revolutionizing gaming.

WOW!! That DS lite sounds so amazing (asks parents to get it 4 her for Christmas), though I am actually putting my $ towards college and if there is any leftover, I will use it to reserve the Wii (since the Wii is too much $$ for anyone to afford).

Mario Kart is the coolest! I like the part where you design your own Avie for your cars. Then I pwn with Yoshi (it is hard to get 3 stars on every racecourse, but it is fun!)
