No one has replied to this but that sucks. I haven't really had many tooth problems myself. I don't even have wisdom teeth. |

My tooth feels like its going to explode with enough force to take my house down. The pain is intolerable, second only to the migraine headaches I thankfully only get twice a year. I have taken a Vicodin and it didn't even come close to touching it. Of course it's the weekend so the dentist won't be in til Monday. I told that dentist a year ago just to pull it out, but he wanted to save it and did a root canal... bah... I AM GOING TO TAKE A CHISEL AND POKE IT OUT! (I wish it were that easy >_<) This seems like a bit of a rant, so uh... anyone know any like... good remedies for a toothache?........................................ make it stop |

Wow someone replied... haha... tooth problems run in my family... its genetic or something... If you're in my family you can have the best oral hygiene ever... and still suffer. My older brother (42ish) and older sister (37ish) have both lost most of their teeth and have dentures... Thats a wack thing to look forward to... Well at least I have all mine, even if they give me fits. After the Vicodin not touching it... and my post on here I was at my wits end, literally in pain among the worst I ever experienced. I was gonna go to the emergency room and make them slice the abscess that had formed, but would not drive myself considering having taken a vicodin. I was about to freak out it was so bad and I went to the bathroom to poke at it. Well nothing sterile was around so I just decided to try to rinse it with hot water. It worked, it made the damn thing drain and instantly relieved the pressure enough for me to go to sleep. When I woke up it was gone... thank God! |

I used to dream of the blue in your eyes, now my dreams are color blind.
reminds when it was decided that my wisdoms should come out. they said it could wait another year, but then i felt an intermittent ache in one of my back molars. it wasnt bad, just annoying. at my next routine dental they saw on the x-ray that the wisdom that was behind that molar had already grown towards that molar and was eating into the root. they decided they had to operate much sooner, lest i lose that tooth as well. |
