You can read a lot about it here . Or search on any type of search engine. I use to research it quite a lot, and have found myself to be very Left Brain Oriented. Reading about it or taking online quizzes, what would you say you are more of?

Exactly half and half. [/b] Yeah, same here. But it said that I was still left dominant. Strange. Mguy,you did research, right? If you score half and half, are really considered left brained or is it just a flaw in scoring the test?

About half and half. According to the test, I'm slightly more right-brained, but a lot of the questions I was somewhere in between. (Like the one about books--I remember the general idea very well, but I also have a great memory for details)

Well, in the categories that they listed, often I would technically be more left-brained in one category, and then more right-brained in another. It really depends on the situation. I do think I might be slightly more left-brained, though. There weren't a whole lot of questions and on some of them I was 50/50, especially the first question.

The whole right-brain / left brain dichotomy and the idea of hemispherical dominance, "right brain" thinkers and "left brain" thinkers, is a commonly recurring theme in popular psychology with very little scientific support. In short? The whole left-brain/right-brain think is a bunch of complete bollocks. Any reputable first-year psychology lecturer will tell you likewise. The two sides of the brain definitely have different functions, but there is very little evidence to support the popular idea of hemispherical dominance in the way that it is presented in popular psychology.

I think I agree with you Blue. I think it really only gives you an inkling if the person is more artistic vs more logical. And even then, there are so many factors that contribute to each, in regards to BOTH sides of the brain, so yeah, you can't really label someone left or right. Useless, but still fun-ish to take the quiz.

That test was irritating for me to answer. Questions like: When taking a test, which style of questions do you prefer? [/b] and 5. Do you have a place for everything and keep everything in its place?[/b] Are hard, because I like both kind of tests and as for keeping things in their places - I'll keep my desk organised and often have logical positions for things, but I don't give a crap about, say, the rest of my room.
