Well 9/26/06 makes sense in one way because when I say that the date I say " September 26, 2006" from left to right. But that's not really a good argument because just as many probably say "The 26th of September 2006" |

When I write dates longhand I sometimes use 27, September, 2006. But when using numbers only I write 9/27/06. I don't think it really matters, however I do think there should be some kind of rule as to the way they are written to differentiate. Let's say it's April 5, 2006. That could either be 04/05/06 or 05/04/06. The problem being the latter could also be interpreted as May 4th. |
