I don't know if "traditions" is the right word, but I know it pretty well fits something I do.

With School, work, family ect. Its not often all of me and my friends get to hang out together. So, we found a time when we're all home, when we're not busy, that we can do something. Every Friday Night (or Saturday Morning if you want to be politically correct) at around 1:00-2:00 we all go(sneak ) out to a clearing in a nearby forest, and sit around a fire. A lot of the time we just talk. About nothing, about everything. We just sit there around the warm fire, in the middle of the night, with the trees around us. Talking, laughing, having a good time. We've been doing it for a few years now.

What are somethings similar that you do?

Every Tuesday my sister comes over and spends the night, so we have weekly girl-talk and chick-flick sessions - I love it

Every night before bed, my cats bug me to brush their teeth (I have them so brainwashed)

Our group of friends used to get together every Friday night, have a bonfire, cook food on the grill, drink, and play horseshoes - it was such a blast! But then the friend whose house we'd go to got engaged doesn't hang out with anyone anymore... it's quite pathetic, actually.

I don't think he means habbits. Sounds like a tradition to me.

Every year around christmas when I go home and all of my old high school buddies get home for the holidays, we all get together and have a giant LAN party. We're all still nerdy kids at heart.

LAN parties are fun I had a big one with Halo 2's release. Any games in particular?

True dat! And just a couple days ago I proved that I am still the queen of Starcraft (at least among my circle of friends).

Our family has mainly holiday traditions, especially Christmas and the Fourth of July. On Christmas (if we're all home) my mom makes hot chocolate from scratch and we usually add a little creme de menthe... mmm, tasty! Also, each of us has a traditional stocking stuffer that we get every year: for me it's marashino cherries (which somehow I don't think I got this year! Oh dear&#33. Stuff like that.

There are so many in my life... but one of my absolute favorites is getting together with the band I was in 25 years ago. We all kind of stumbled back together a few years back, and Monday nights have since become our "bowling night" together - we write music, jam, enjoy each other's company. It is a complete escape for me... an oasis. We do it for the joy of it all - no other reason.

A couple concerts and a lot of great music has come out of it too - but that's bonus.

That is great to see. Ever one needs that "Oasis" as pj would call it.
Establishing a special bond with a family member or friend is such a great thing.

My dad and I have been going out to breakfast on a weekend morning, for close to twenty five years now.
As him and I have gotten a lot older, our experience It never gets old.

well, i get one weekend off a month from work (usually four days all together). My boyfriend comes down, and we always try to go somewhere on the sunday and just hang out...sometimes we'll go somewhere new, or go to somewhere we really like.

Or, if we are staying in, i usually cook a sunday roast, cos i can't do it on the other two weekends i'm working. No time!
