"Dead monk is alive" is a little misleading. Anyway, as a Wikipedia user pointed out, "Can we have any sources that aren't buddhist?" ...and you can clearly see that salt played a part in this "miracle" too. Pretty damn interesting though....

It's a lie what they write at the bottom. I don't remember her name, but a female christian non managed to do the same. She died, she was never burried, but she subtstained her body-state. Right now, you can watch her in some church somewhere, don't remember where though. She's in perfect state, you can't tell the difference from her and a sleeping human (except for the position she's in, ofcourse). Only her nails have rottened a bit.
