what. parents that don't understand? ok then...if you're worried about them seeing the sites you've visited then after you get done go to "tools" then "internet options" and click that button that says "clear history". that should do it...or you could try to explain it to them.

Hehe, go to internet options, then general > settings > view files> make it look like "details" > sort them by "date created" and delete files you created while surfing teh forum. Then click "up one level" and you will see history folder. There, delete folders you created while surfing the forum. ↑ this actions delete 99% of the stuff you make during surfing the net. I used it to surf porn sites and nobody *ever* found out

I told my parents that it is my business, and if they want to see what I'm doing, then they have to let me see what they do. And it worked, they shut up. Of course, you may have parents that aren't like mine.

Lol you guys. Well all that won’t work for me when I’m using this computer. When we got it we also got this software. It records all programs, documents, sites, etc. Basically everything and anything you do on the computer. It even records what you TYPE in your browser windows (Yes this message I’m typing right now is being recorded) and takes freaking SCREENSHOTS at regular intervals. It is also hidden so well that you would never know it's even on the computer watching your moves unless you are told about it. So basically if I try something like deleting history there'd be a record of it: 15:42:12 - RECORDING ACTIVATED 15:42:14 - Internet Explorer 15:42:17 - Toolbar: Tools 15:42:18 - Internet Options 15:42:21 - Clear History[/b] I don’t mind though, personally I think its pretty neat (though scary at times ). But that’s cause my parents never check the records. I don't even know why we have it installed.

Man I would save up my money and invest in a Laptop and do everything at any WI-FI location.

I've seen quite alot of those monitoring programs..One called Activity Monitor lets you shut down computers remotely [boy, it's a fun thing at school].

Heh heh, the program came with our computer. I didn't do anything to earn it. And if I ever wanted to not be monitored I'd just use my laptop (Yes it has Wi-Fi). But I just gotten used to using this desktop cause all my stuff is on it. I do enjoy surfing the net while in bed with the laptop though.
