Do you bing a backpack to school?

When I was in school I was too lazy to bring books to class and stuff. I usually hid my books in the classroom, and just brought a little binder with paper to class. Then, I never used either and just passed out or talked to friends. high school was fun...

Used a backpack the first year or so in high school, but then I wanted to be cool and got like a bag thingie. Now in college I use a bag thingie when I have few things and a backpack when I have many things. Don't care about the coolness factor for I am always cool.

I usually carry a backpack, I tried just carrying my stuff, but I just have too much to carry, a math book, history book, several english books, a binder or two, etc.... Also, I can be kind of spacey sometimes, so I worry about leaving my binder somewhere and losing it, I figure it's a lot harder to lose something that's attached to your back, so backpacks for me....

I have far too many loose sheets of paper to not carry a backpack. You'll know what I mean if you ever drop a pile of the stuff in a crowded hallway...

^Lol. Yes I carry a backpack, or else I would be constantly losing things. The fact that I lose things constantly even with a backpack gives you an idea of how many things I would lose without one.

Yes at my school backpack's are a must. Everyone has one. We have about 6 different lessons a day each requiring about 2-3 books each. When I start A-levels I intend to get a satchel because: 1. They're cooler and 2. I'll have less stuff to carry

Has anyone gone into that situation where they have bought this awesome looking bag from a catalogue just to realise that it is ment for the opposite gender when it arrives. I got this cool looking blue bag and it said "surfers angels" on the back, boy was i annoyed.

I heard those rolly backpacks are all the rage nowadays. I had one of those when they first came out... one teacher kept asking me if I was catching a flight soon or something. (I liked it.) The only problem was that I'm rather tall, so it was almost too short for me.
