PS for example. When I first got it I didn't have a d@mn clue how to use it. And the tuts gave me a major headache. So I gave up for like 3 years. Went back to it... then woot! Got the hang of it.
Another example, DirectX was acting up on me and wouldn't update... I wanted it to update so I would be able to play the Sims 2! I bought a new PC for mainly that reason. But nooo... didn't work. I gave up. Then like 6 months later, tried again. WOOT! Worked.
Best to not give up overall. Nothing good comes outta that.

I don't know the whole story so I can't be sure about this, but I can't imagine a reason why Crysis level making should be such a stressful endeavor. Just chill out about it; take deep breaths, work on it when you can, take breaks when you are having trouble and push onward. There is no reason to 'give up' on something you didn't have to do in the first place. Just do it slower.
Thanks guys well i tried more today, i totally SKIPPED one of the parts that drove me up the wall and went to do something else, making a cave and i'll be working on that after work, kinda got addicted to perfecting the cave then i saw the time.
