Oh my Gosh, this video is unbelievable! I'm just wondering if the poor buffalo calf died shortly after the brutal attack considering it must have had multiple lion/alligator bite wounds all over.

Awh usually I can't STAND to watch this sort of thing...it just breaks my heart. But I actually felt bad for the lions! They do look pretty thin, and after awhile I thought it would have been more humane to just kill the calf, I can't believe it survived after being attacked by a pride of lions AND crocodiles! That's crazy. I bet it was seriously injured though, they were trying to strangle it for awhile. That was seriously cool.

No, its ironic. The rescue only leads to more pain. It would have been better for the calf if it were ripped into little bitesized pieces.

The lions lost, that is all there is to it. They were the weaker. I am not an animal expert, and the baby probably died, but I remember that time I saw a cardinal on my feeder with it's chest ripped out; I mean it was gone (probably the handiwork of a cat) and a few months later there was the same bird...a huge circular scar where the chest had somehow grown back. Amazing. I think such displays of animal intelligence are important in any case. That video changed some people I can assure you.

Some animals really are amazing at how resilient they are...I've seen some animals with extensive injuries going about their business as if they were just fine. O_o I bet the calf died soon after, and was eaten by the lions. Those lions must have been really weak if they coudln't kill that calf...
