"Revolution 9" backwards is very trippy. I don't think the stuff people claim it says backwards is real except in maybe a few instances. It reminds me of people thinking they see dogs and ice cream cones in the clouds. But that song backwards is some crazy stuff. Then again, that song forward is some crazy stuff.

But in any case, playing a song backward or forward or sideways or whatever hardly constitutes as anything worthy of evidence.

I can write a song right now that says "Elvis is trapped in my basement," and some nuts will go and get really excited about it and lose sleep over it.

I played backwards on a record tur me on dead man and Satan look at me r all real I was so scared tho I freaked out I used to never beleive in any of that stuff now I have actually heard it. also hear why don't we do it in the road and I'm so tired. some parts in all except why don't we do it in the road.

yes i have and its a load of crap!!!!

A few people thought those parts sounded like "turn me on dead man" or whatever then showed it to everyone with the captions so now it's spread around and because you're listening while seeing the captions you're hearing what the captions say.

the problem is I've actually done it I have proof my own ears heard it I used the actual song on the white album. I used a record player and played it backwards.

btw he died on November(9!!!!), 1966. also heather mills knows but she can't say anything or she goes to jail. youtube m illy (yes I meant to put a space) its an interveiw of revealing.

But when you did that did you know about the theories of "turn me on dead man" and all that? If you did then you expected to hear it so you listened for it then you heard it.

no I never heard about it. I heard of weird messages but just that. no words were given no parts so I checked it out. I started from the end anne listened. it was a song backwards itself. I was never told when the messages would play. I had no idea when I would hear it but when I did I was shocked.

Ok, first question, why the hell would she go to jail if she said anything unless this is some big government coverup, but why the hell would it be, and secondly, so she can't say anything, but she has a video of it on the internet saying something? Makes sense.

Also, big whoop, you heard noises out of backwards words. It happens, certain sounds when reversed will make words. And what the hell is "Turn me on, deadman" supposed to mean anyway? What kind of evidence does this have towards Paul being dead? Nothing at all. Then the messages of Satan? No relation to Paul whatsoever, and The Beatles don't really seem like the Satanist kind of band. If anything, it was all planted for record sales, just a big hoax. Just because you hear those messages, vague and unclear as they may be, doesn't mean Paul is dead, it means the Beatles, like everyone else, like record sales.

Oh, and someone did a video analysis on youtube, comparing Paul from pre 1966 and post 1966, both pictures and voice analysis, and they were identical. There's no way that you could find someone identical to Paul McCartney, both in physical aspect, voice and talent.

There are no hidden messages in Beatles songs about Paul's death and anybody who honestly thinks so is ridiculous. Of course there are some references to death in some of their songs because death is a big philosophical issue but nothing linking it to Paul. Lennon thought it was all ridiculous too actually, he took the piss out of people who over analyse Beatles songs in the song Glass Onion and he wasn't subtle about it.

Some things you should know about Revolution #9.

A lot of it is backwards in the first place! This style of music is called "music concrete," and was created back in the 30s using recording tape in a sort of cut and paste way. This is not actually a Beatles song, but a song by John Lennon and Yoko Ono, and the other Beatles weren't crazy about it appearing on the album.

The voice saying "Number Nine" was from a test real of tape that already existed long before they started making the song. I think it was to identify a take number or a certain stock of tape.

If it happened to sound like "turn me on, dead man" when played backwards (highly debatable) then it certainly would be a coincidence, wouldn't it? Anyway, there is no "T," so the word "turn" isn't even nearly there!

You can analyze how a word sounds backwards by translating it into the international phonetic alphabet, and reversing the letters. We used to do this for fun all the time in college. And for the record:

"Number Nine" = "Nyahn Rebmun" is pretty much how it comes out.
